Im about to graduate high school this year and i have no clue at all what i want to be?

Answer:
Ha Ha Ha join the club. Don't worry though eventually we all find something that we are good at whether it's at college, at a vocational school, or at a job. You just have to think about what interests you and what your personality is like. I have an annal retentive personality so I had to make a list about what I like what I don't like, thus far I think I might want to be a nutritionist. I guess I'll find out in college.

Good luck to you, I know how you feel.
a job should be based on your own personal interests. what do u enjoy??
dont fret about it: you will find the perfect job eventually.
There are websites you can go to to find what you are interested in. Go search for one, and see what you find appealing.
surely you want to be somebody, its jsut that you dont know that somebody that you want to become.. choose something you really love and go for it.. you'll never know...
Take a look at what you do everyday. Once you figure out the monotonous activities that are a part of daily life, separate them from the other things you do. Now take a look at those things.

From here, think carefully about how you feel about them. Do they make you feel happy, sad, bored, ect. Now think if you are happy with your present life, or if you desire something more; a shapeless void that needs filled.

From here, start dissecting what makes up these activities. For instance, if you are constantly bored at school, becoming a teacher would be inadvisable. But if you enjoy being in that atmosphere, a teacher might be a good occupation. Or lets say you like to build little models, well then an engineer, or possibly an architect.

To be perfectly honest, there really isn't an answer to this question. Hardly anyone knows what they want to do after high school, and the ones that claim to know are generally mistaken. Just go to a decent college, preferably away from home, as that will give you a new perspective on life, and possibly allow you to express yourself freely with more ease. Your freshmen year in college is the year to decide what you like doing; you will afterall be taking very general courses so as to allow this to occur.
If you are planning on going to college, maybe go ahead and start with getting the general education stuff out of the way. Maybe by the time you are done with that you will have an idea as to what you want to major in. If theres one thing that really draws you to it, go for that. I had no clue what I wanted to do, and going to a 4 year college wasnt an option for me. But one day I was thinking, wow that would be awesome to be a travel agent and plan peoples vacations and travel for discounts or for free. So I went to travel school and got a job as a travel agent. After 9/11 I got laid off, and was never able to find another travel agent job, but I got a job with Delta Airlines and still was able to travel for free, which satisfied me enough.
Think of the one thing you are really into and just go for that.
You might also want to talk to a counselor wherever you are planning to go to college (assuming you plan to go) to see what your best course of action is.
Good luck to you!
There are many free websites to take career tests. They take about 30 minutes or so and will give you a general idea of where your personality fits into a career that's right for you.

Look at it like this.when you do work, you will be spending 8 out of 24 hours of your day there at work, so you might as well be fully into it!

In the past when I was deciding on a career I asked myself this.If money wasn't an issue, and I had the nice car, the house, the nice clothes and a fat account with a couple of million in the bank.just imagine all this... What would I do with my time. What would I do for free, if money wasn't an issue.

Would I be making surfboards...gardening..hel... out others on a crisis line..teaching.interior designing.what? What is a hobby that you really dig? What have you always wanted to do but haven't because of fear of failure or finances..? Find what you would do for free and figure out how you can server others and make money doing that very thing! You can do this...your young and the sky is the limit!
talk to your guidance counselor. They can help you otap into your interests and even help you find a job! You can also take tests online to find out what you would be good at. Good luck!
First, think about what you want to improve in this world. If you are happy with this world, then think about what you love to do.

Then, research on what jobs work with what you love to do. You will also have to research what courses you'd have to take, and if you would like those courses any.

Finally, go to college.
try to:

take a break

- If you have money go abroad

- relax - ideas pop up out of nowhere in the state
- learn addtitional language - it is an asset believe me

gain experience:

- wash dishes in a restaraunt
- drive pizzas and food to people
- work in a hotel
- network with people
- meet beautiful girls
- read clever books

in short LOVE yourself and enjoy your life and the rest will fall in place on it's own
Sometimes, its best to do temping jobs until you find what you like. But do bear in mind that all jobs have good and bad things about them and you need to be flexible in terms of what you want. Sometimes the job's sh*tty but the colleagues are ace, and vice versa. Whats important to you. For me it has got to be the people I work with. If they're Kn*bs, then I wouldn't stay there any longer than I have to.
just be yourself the rest will follow
