How can i become a "morning person"? ie, get up and be active early in the morning?
my natural rhythm is to be awake late at night and sleep most of the morning. is it possible to alter this?
Answer:
You may need to force yourself to stay up all night and the following day--until at least 7PM. It may take a few days of doing that to change your hours around.
Or, you could try MELATONIN, an over-the-counter supplement for sleep--used successfully by people who work rotating shifts, and by others who suffer with jet lag. It is in the vitamin section of pharmacies, Walmart, health-food stores, and supermarkets.
yes just change your sleep patterns. dont stay up late, and get up early every morning. in time you will change
Get 5 hours sleep one night (let's say go to bed at 3, wake up at 8). Take some caffeine to keep yourself up for the day. At about 9pm, you'll be dead and ready to go to sleep. Get 8 hours sleep and wake up at 5am for a couple days. Then start waking up at 6am, and it will seem late (since you've been waking up at 5 previously). Do that and you should be good to go.
Get a alarm then when awake drink freezing cold water and put water on your face!
Force yourself to go to bed early! After a couple of weeks of this you will start waking earlier on your own.
