I'd like to know what you think if you see someone serious all the time..?
Is it necessary to show a happy front to have friends?

Some people are just serious, their quest for knowledge or understanding, sometimes takes a front seat to their social skills, or interaction with others..
There is always common ground on which to communicate with them, once you find out their interests, books, nature,culture, music.sometimes it just takes a little longer and a little more effort to really get to know them.
Smiling, happy people are wonderful to be around, but a serious person is also, as they tend to view things from a more logical point of view...You are truly blessed to have both kinds of friends...thank you
Well, I would approch them, for sure (thats how my fiance was). But I would think that they are upset or mad all the time
nah they just are thinking about stuff
I'd approach them, if nothing more than to just tell them to get the tree trunk out of their a-- and loosen up a bit...
