Why does my luck seem bad?
What does one do when it seems that everything is simply going wrong? Like every little detail in life right now is just negative regardless of how much one tries to persevere through it. Does this happen to anyone else?
Answer:
Life is cyclical. You will go through good times and bad times, and you can't control it. The bad times teach you to deal with adversity, and build emotional strength for the next round of crap. They teach you that you will survive,no matter what. The good times teach you to keep going. They teach you to be grateful for what you do have, and give you something to reach for. Things will straighten out, I promise, although it seems like that will never happen. As you gain control over more areas of your life you will learn where to direct your efforts to effect change, and where to just let it go. Remember this: "This, too, shall change." The Universe is always leading you to the Next Best Thing for you.
Don't worry, you will get used to the feeling. I have felt that way on more than several occasions.
Luck is basically what you make of it. Everyone has rough times in life, so the more you look for the positive the more your life will be positive. It really is the glass is half full routine
read "the Secret"
think good luck, get good luck.
that book/dvd actually helps and works
sure it does . . . sometimes you gotta make a little of your own luck
if it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...GOOD LUCK?
ahhhh grasshopper, walk on rice paper and transfer your thoughts to a positive dimension
yes, to me, too. i try my best to not see it as bad luck but as ppl's choices and for me to not think it means i am less than others or don't deserve good things to happen.
sometimes, when a hard period comes around, it is easy to start thinking more will come and expect it and that could be why it is also happening.
Yes, I think it can happen to anyone. Bad things happen to good people, its just a fact of life my friend.
Stay positive, are you into faith at all? I would explore your spirtual side, church, ect., if things are going badly over and over again, you need people to stand beside you.
Perseverance builds character. Best of luck to you.
Everyone goeas through it once in a while
Kinda like a cold but it also leaves after a while
Change your mind set, always think of Positive things or Happy events, i know it is not easy but negative thoughts invites negative actions. Change your pattern of thoughts and you will be amazed at how Positive things will flow towards you instead of away from you. Let positive thought dominate your brain.
hey join the club. all i can say is roll with the punches. i have been on a downward spiral for 2 and a half months. seems like its breaking and getting ready to go back up. lets hope so. bad luck comes in droves, you just gotta deal with it. sucks but hey
No such thing as luck. If you believe your destiny is to be an unlucky person, then you will be. It's all in your mind. Maybe you're depressed. Go see a professional, get some help. Everybody has bad days, everybody hurts, you're not special.
sometimes u just are not lukie or it could be just one of those weeks that u have not been haveing such good luck
ohwell hope u get some good luck soon!
Windy. It will pass, and it is there to test you. We don't realise sometimes, that there is design to our lives. Have you ever watched Hour of Power on Sundays(in New Zealand)? We watch it every Sunday. Not because we are devout Christians which we aren't, but because of the encouraging words that support positive outlooks. Robert Schuller states-Tough times don't last, but tough people do.My spiritual advisor states-Go with the flow.So what you can you do?Well I'm sure you could think of the things that are positive in your life. Also you could stop associations with people with negative outlooks. We don't think enough of our good points, and times.I have just gone through that phase. I could say it's been a S---T year so far, but I'm still here, and I'm sure that like me you'll get past it.Keep truckin'.
remember there is a light at the end of every tunnel
so try to look at the brighter side of things maybe its only bad because u only focus on the bad
YES! I know exactly what you mean!
I have come to realize that when I think I am having the worst possible luck, I am not, because it always gets even worse.
Once, I kid you not, I was feeling very low and I had been sitting on the throne for some time assessing my misfortunes when suddenly for no known reason, the toilet seat cracked. When the noise scared me, I stood up! When I did, the seat resumed its form and pinched me incredibly hard and held on. The only way to stop the pain was to sit back down. But when I tried to get up in pinched on like a blue crab again!
Hang in there. It probably wont get any better, but you'll get used to it. Have a sense of humor. You're not the only loser in town.
If you tell yourself things will go wrong...things will go wrong. You'll make them go wrong subconsciously and sabotage your own efforts. There is no bad luck. Just bad choices..no matter how small they seem. They all add up like filling your pockets with rocks one at a time. Eventually your thoughts are so clouded it gets harder and harder to put one foot in front of the other. Try and focus on what is wrong and how it got that way. Now what can you do to change it. It may be something you (really) don't want to do. Like a toothache the longer you put off a trip to a dentist the worse it will get. Tell yourself that "things will go my way today". You'll be surprised how often they will. Good luck... Rob
