I'm having areal problem, do you have any suggestions?

I have a hard time concentrating at work. I lose focus easily. All of my tasks are in disarray and not all work is completed in a timely manner. I've made mistakes that are preventable and repeat them, and then get really mad at myself because I knew better. I'm being outperformed by others and it shows. I'm not one with the 'click' I suppose. It seems like people always have to keep an eye on me because they don't trust me. Not that I'm screwing up all the time, or maybe I am and just don't notice it. I've never used to be like this. I used to be geared and on the ball, always catching mistakes and fixing problems. Now it seems I've lost my edge, comparable to a rusty spoon. It really hurts my self esteem that I can't amount to much at work let alone my personal life. I'm quite literally drowning in a vat of jelly beans. (Yeah this will get me a wife) :-(

Answer:
You're having a bad month. If you make a big deal out of it it will turn into a bad year. (Personal experience)
Just try to hold things together for a while longer, the storm will pass.
But let me ask you this, What changed?
What happened recently (at home, at work, with family or friends or even just emotionally) that's keeping your mind off work.
Do you have any addictions?
If so, slow down on that.
If all is basically the same, then it's just your turn to sing off key for a while.
Good luck.
Try yoga and/or meditation. It will help you get your groove back.
You may be overly stressed.
Calm down take a deep breath try to relax a little.
Awe, you kind of sound like me. I have been noticing things in my life that have changed. I just figure its just me getting older. ::cry:::
what it seems like to me...is you are reliving these things over and over and over again and every time you do that you are putting yourself even further behind...i bet there was a time when you made mistakes and laughed them off...you need to get to a point where your mistakes are not running your life...gee wasn't that easy? no, it isn't...as you know...you have to start slow...i say that a lot but it is the only way to get really effective change in your life...when you make a mistake...think to yourself "well at least that one is over and i DONT have to do it again"...then don't...move on...do something you know as well as the back of your hand to gain confidence again...even temporarily...
know that people are not watching you...at least i don't think they are...if they are...how pathetic is that of them...what a miserable existence they have...know that for yourself...it will help put a different perspective on that situation...
you can get your edge back...just stop reliving your mistakes...everyone makes them...today i spilled half a latte on my leg right in front of the courthouse before a hearing i needed to testify in...i just laughed and the court officer came over with his hanky to help out...i smiled and said "you just wanted to touch my leg"...we had a good time of it and just went on...you can do it too...
Have you ever talked to a psychologist about the possibility of having adult attention deficit disorder? This may apply to you. I know it sounds a bit extreme, but what you are describing sounds alot like that. Check out the website I pasted in and see if you fit.
