My co-worker is picking on me, what can I do?
My boss (he works in the same branch as Catherine) came to my branch the other day and he was so impressed with my work, he called his wife and Catherine to come and see it.
While they were there my boss kept on telling me, "Well done, you should be proud of yourself, I’m proud of you." And one of the customers agreed with my boss as well.
Since then Catherine goes though all my work, try and find mistakes and so far she’s found a few typing errors, each time when she find something she’ll tell my boss and also all her staffs, sometimes even tell her staffs to look for mistakes…
I’m so angry though, is not that I’m pretty and didn’t need to do any work to get to where I’m, I know I’m not educated and not very cleaver but I work extremely hard to get this job!! If

No matter where you go or what you do you'll always have the "one". That's the person who is the complete jackass for whateevr reason. Clearly Catherine is jealous of you and all that you have accomplished in such a short time. She's been with your company for 4 years longer and she doesn't get the accolades you do and this makes her angry and petty. It's just the way people are.
With expeirience in the military, my advice in how to deal with someone like this is to continue on your path. She's been unsuccessful in sabotaging your career and that's because you're doing the right thing everyday. Keep it up and don't let that pertentious witch get under your skin----that's what she wants. Keep going and do your job as you have been and eventually it become clear to the big wigs that she spends most of her time trying to compete and keep up with you in trying to see your faults than in dong her own job which will lead to her demise. Keep up the good work and you'll be fine, always knowing people like Catherine will always exist.

She will trap herself into looking foolish (if she hasn't already). Petty or envious people are always found out. You will start to get more and more respect and she will get littler and littler respect.

from your description you don't sound like someone who would want to manipulate people or try to.
So my advice would be to kill your ex-boss with kindness.
Talk to Catherine, ask her why she behaving this way toward you, and if your don t get answers from her, call a meeting with your boss and Catherine and get it settled.
Obviously, she's jealous of your achievements thus far, but you shouldn't let her continue these schemes to ply your downfall.
First of all, it is important to remind yourself that it’s not your fault. No one deserves to be treated this way. If you’re being picked on, try to stop it either by yourself or with help from the Boss. But if you don't want anyone to get nvolved in this, just try to silence that person by hitting her where it hurts: at her ego that is. Don't do it with such negative intent though, just raise you level of performance a bit, to a point where she finds it hard to compromise.
Sometimes you just have to make people like her realize that there is no room for Jealousy in the workplace. Afterall, you work for the same company, so instead of acting like a crab and pulling you back into the mire, she should just do better than her usual, in her work that is.
And your job is to open her eyes, and make her smell the morning coffee.
