Question for PRO-LIFERS only. How many of you used to be pro-choice and are now pro life?
I for one used to be pro-choice, until the day came when I held my newborn niece. And now especially after having my own kids. After that, I could never imagine why anybody would consider killing such a beautiful and innocent being.
I'm so pro-life now it makes pro-choicer's heads spin.
Please, only people answer that have experienced something similar to this. No rants from pro-choicers please.
Answer:
I will tell you 2 things that changed my mind. One was going with a friend who wanted an abortion. She used it as a form of birth control and I felt it was wrong when she turned up pregnant again right after that and had another abortion. The man who's child it was wanted the child and would have raised the kid up right but she did not give him the opportunity to do so. Lastly, When I held my nephew for the first time my heart exploded with love. Although I always wanted kids I could not have any of my own, sadly, but I am extremely close with my brothers 2 sons. They are the best and have brought a huge amount of joy to all of us. There isn't anything I would not do to help them.
Selfish people, they shouldn't have sex at all if they can't use something not to get pregnant.
How could you kill a baby?
Or a baby to be as some say.
at age 15 i had an abortion. it was the right choice for me at the time. i did not regret it. what i do regret is my actions that took me so such a place to have to make that decision.i have counseled others about abortions. every woman has the right to decide her own body. some had babies, others did not,.. today i have 3 beautiful daughters.. i have told them { the 13 yr old twin girls} not the toddler} all about it.. to make them understand and hopefully they will not have to make that decision when they are 15......
I have always been pro life. I for the life of me cannot imagine why anyone would think it is okay to kill an innocent life full of promise. I have never been pro choice myself but have had a hand in converting others to being pro life.
I was pro-choice (nice sounding name for such a brutal act). I'm older now and pro-life. I've also taken on some more "old fashioned" views of marriage and family. I used to be VERY liberal. LoL
But, to each his own. I may not really agree the pro-choice views, but I respect them. After all, I've been there.
