Become more involved in extra curricular activities that interest you. You will find that being involved in those activities will lead you to new company that shares the same interests as you.
Its easy =p just express yourself, there are friends for everyone in this world =p. But don't do things to make you "Popular" those kind of friends will back stab you once you lose your "Coolness". Don't be afraid to be yourself! start conversations. Just start with small talk and if you find something common with that person move up =p.
