What do you do to cheer yourself up/stop yourself from feeling down?
Just interested really to see what everyone else does to keep yourself feeling happy? When I start feeling down, I get really insecure, but if I'm feeling happy, I am much more confident in myself and feel great!
I would love to ooze this confidence all the time! Any tips?

Get some qualifications, if you haven't already.
I love to spend time with my grandchildren.
I have a vey fullfilling job and this keeps me happy, most of the time.
I love music and surround myself with it at all times, at home, in the car, even at work.
I get paid monthly and treat myself to a little something every month - make-up, a book, c.d., or top/shoes etc.
Go out with friends they keep your mind occupied.

i hang out with my bf and my friends... if i cant, i face the facts and keep myself down. it will eventually pass, life goes on and thats the moto that gets me through mine. [=
When I feeld own, I go for a long walk, and listen to Blink 182 way too loudly. Never fails to cheer me up.
To get more confidence in yourself, you should forget all the parts about yourself that make you feel insecure, and only focus on the parts of your personality/body that you like. In time, you will start to like everything about yourself.

Read...something so simple can get your energy redirected.
Walking is good - or any exercise you enjoy doing. Talking to friends is also good - if I can't do anything else I email/MSN/text until someone has time/inclination to chat! Works wonders!
loud music is what helps me!! club or something kinda bouncy that u can sing along to. and a good night out with friends always helps
I listen to upbeat music and dance. I read a really good book. Watch funny movies and stand-up comedies on DVD. I'll call a friend that is positive and comical. Sometimes I'll throw a party with just a few friends that I have a good time with.

Make a list of all the good things in your life and be thankful for them. Look at all the people doing things to make the world a better place and do something yourself!!

I do something creative or get my mits into some tidying. I also smile and laugh when I'm sad and pretend to be happy because you feel silly and laugh at yourself anyway! its a placebo effect.
I also go round to my mothers, i don't really have any friends right now but she's crazy and she cheers me up.
I also get myself excited about something - be it something that will never happen or looking at nice shoes.
I have the same problem, me and my mind should never be left on our own for too long,
I enjoy drawing, it keeps my mind on somethin else, but exercise is good too, it releases some chemical in your brain that makes you feel good but i'm not always in the mood for exercise so i listen to my fave bands really loud that usually helps
I dont think you can feel confident ALL the time, even the most confident looking people have their bad days,
Maybe set yourself some new goals!?!

you've answered yourself, you don't feel down all the time so when you are feeling happy take note more of why you do then apply it to the down times.
Go to book store and browse in "Motivational" section.
