Is being weird a good or bad thing?
Answer:
ive been called weird and crazy waaaay too many times to care lol. i loveit.
We are all weird in our own little weird ways!! I like weird people..and I am weird! Woo Hoo!
"weird" is such a vague word,so your question is meaningless.
same goes for the word "normal."
both words are labels. Neither one describes me. People have called me both. It's all relative.
weird is just another name for unique
what you may call weird might be normal to me
It's usually considered good to be a little eccentric about this and that, yes.
"Weird", on the other hand, is debatable.
I think it depends on your view of weird. If you are just trying to be over-the-top weird because you want people to notice you then that is bad, but if you if it is just something different about you then it is good to be an original.
Personally, I believe in our own way, we're all "weird" simply because normality is as unattainable as perfection. From household to household, the norm changes. So, if the norm is constantly changing, what is weird? Sure, they say that the norm is determined by society, but what if you're in a society that is so diverse, like ours? If anything, being weird is the norm.
Weird;
(1)creepy, having to do with death or fate leading to death. All about death.
(2) Repulsive.
(3) whatever ignorant whimsy assigns to the word.
-Do you favor any or all of these meanings? Lots of Luck, if so.
It usually means a bad thing whren someone calls you weird, but being different isn't necessarily a bad thing , it can just mean you have different ideas than the standard ones most people have, sometimes being different and standing up for what you believe in is a good thing.Hope i clarafied this for you, its ok to be different.
i am a seasoned artist who enjoys the company of creative individuals.some are very weird and some not.i enjoy both.been called weird now and then, but in a good way.at this point the word weird to me means a pervert,or someone with abnormal tenancies, really abnormal.
