if you are then, humanistic psychology has the assumption that all human beings are basically good or neutral... there's nothing evil about him... the ways might be but the intention, which is mainly to survive and develop, is not...
this is the branch of psychology which deals with the people in an unconditional positive regard, meaning, accepting the person as of who he/she is, with all the faults and mistakes...
