Yeah. My dog ate my spelling book. Yours too, huh?
Hmm... My mom was in a car wreck when I was younger and it hurt her greatly... My uncle had a stroke and is now brain damaged... My grandpa has heart problem and kidney problems and is on the verge of dieing... My dad went to jail when I was 7... does any of that count? If not then not really.
Once when I was about 9 years old - we were traveling in the San Juaquin Valley in California, in heavy fog and came upon an accident where a cattle truck had overturned and there were about 20 dead cows and possibly 30 others wandering around the freeway with a crazed look because of the other car accidents and the highway patrol lights, sirens from the ambulances, loads of blood and guts every where - there have been possibly 8 others I can think of but for some reason this one came to my head - have not thought about this happening in probably 35 years - thanks for asking...Your question reminds me of a dream that i just remembered -
In my life, I can recall two major car accidents. In the early 1990's , I was in a head-on collision on I-35. My entire body went through the windshield of a new truck. I had a head injury but the hospital did not treat me for it. My relatives said that I did not deserve treatment.
In the late 1970's, my oldest brother, got ran over by a truck or a tractor. His right arm was nearly amputated. He lost much blood. Also, he had a deep gash next to his hip. I think he had a few fractured ribs as well.
Were you in a bad car wreck at one time?
Yes, In this sequence. I had a friend killed in an accidental shooting. A brother in law killed in a motorcycle accident. 2 nephews killed in 2 separate car accidents. Another nephew from suicide ( I guess you probably would not call that an accident.) All very horrible and depressing. Strange isn't it how things like that happen to people everyday and even though we have sympathy for others we can't really comprehend what it actually feels like to lose someone we love in such tragic ways. But since this has all happened in our family I guess we do have a better understanding of what others go through although I think it's probably a good thing we can't feel everyones tragedies because if we did life would never have ANY happy times.
