Why do we get bored when we dont like what the person is saying?

its kind of defende way ..i think
We are only concerned with self and group.
If you do not like what someone is saying, it is most likely about another group or about a subject of no use to enhance, better, perpetuate, or strengthen your self or group.
There are no other thoughts in a normal healthy mind other than self, group and anything useful to know for self or group.
