Why is it that there needs to be an "explanation" for sexual predilection towards feet, but not for?
attraction to breasts or butt? Why can't people just accept that some men (some women too) are just driven wild by (mostly female, sometimes male) feet?

What you are asking makes complete sense and is something I never really thought about. I would think it is because people associate breasts with sexuality. No straight man has ever said, I am grossed out by breasts. But some straight men are grossed out by feet, so they would have a hard time understanding another man being turned on by them.
I like to lay on the couch at night watch a good movie.And have a good foot massage.It has nothing to do with sex.It's relaxing.

We (human beans :) ) are hard on minorities. Any time anything is different, or not shared by the majority it's suspect. Just a fact. Minorities are not only racial, but also sexual, religion, gender, lifestyle, ect.
