Overcoming Anxiety of Roller Coasters?
Answer:
I have the exact same problem as you. And I think you should stick to the merry go round and the bumper cars! :P Lol, what I mean is stick to the safer rides, whatever they may be. I think you're wise not to go on the rollercoasters.
I've heard from a couple of my friends that once, a roller coaster stopped when they were upside down for like 5 minutes, which would probably make me sick. And besides ever since I heard about that girl with the severed legs in Kentuchy from that ride, I'm really scared.
I think it's better to be safe than sorry. If you're afraid I think it's logical. Why put yourself through a couple of minutes of nausea and chills for a couple of thrills. It's sooo not worth it.
Stick to the other safer rides. That's my opinion! :P
I refuse to go on roller coasters (except an "easy" one that doesn't go upside-down). I call it a healthy survival instinct =D
just force yourself to go on it. maybe you'll feel better maybe you wont. i have a friend with the same problem, we made him go on the Comet at the Great Escape and it didn't fix his problem, but it works for some people. look on the bight side if it doesn't fix your problem the camera that takes a picture of every one on the roller coaster, you'll have the best one. (the picture of my friend was hilarious)
after that we tried to get him on the pirate ship and he was still afraid, so maybe it will work for you, i know it does for some.
