Is a bad attitude contagious?

Does someone else being in a bad mood put others in one?

Answer:
I believe so, if not contagious it certainly makes everyone close by more up tight.
Depends on the person, but it's definitely possible. And sadly happens more than it should.

I think it's just natural for that to occur. But if we try, we don't have to let anyone else's attitude change ours.
I think it can be...
yes, thank god.
only if you allow this Sometimes it does rubb off if you are ast that point anyway
Yes, it's been proved that the moods of others effect those around them. Think about it, if you're in a great mood and then you come across someone else having a bad day. It sets your happiness off a bit. Or take into consideration when you watch a movie. The sadness of those people can go so far as to move others to tears. But what does that have to do with your current situation?
Hell yeah! misery loves company! haven`t you heard this?I`ll be at work and my irrating winning a** co-worker will come in and gripe and be winning about some thing and my mood can go straight down hill.
oh God yes...great observation!
Yes very. If the person without the "bad attitude" is not in touch with his/her own feelings and has some control of them the 'bad attitude" is likely to attract itself to you.
Someone else being in a bad mood, (like thinking it's them against the world) is contagious, because it does have a way of passing it around to the people that are close to them.
