Could you help me?

I've been rereading Harry Potter books recently, and I've read 6 pages of the prologue of The Golem's Eye, and I've come to the conclusion that reality is boring. I want to have magical powers, and complex adventures that save the world. I mean, sure, I can have "adventures" in real life, but they're so superficial. Everything in real life seems superficial compared to the deepness of Harry Potter and other realistically written fantasy stories. I know that sounds messed up-the reality is superficial and the made up is deep-but that's how I feel. I keep feeling lazy, even when I'm doing something, because I feel it isn't important. I can't have fun anymore, because after reading all this, nothing is fun anymore. Even when I am having fun, it stops as I think about the fictional world and get this sickening feeling in my stomach. They suck us into the magical world as we read, and slam the door on us as we face the humdrum of everyday life.

I really need help.

Answer:
Maybe you could write your own fantasy story that has characters with magical powers and so on. Or maybe stop reading such books and get back to your life and start living it again, find what helps you be passionate about your life and go for it, it's up to you. Or the other option is to seek professional help through a doctor and or therapist to help get you back on track.
Well i have never really experienced anything like that, but i know i can help you. You should stop reading those books..the devil is manipulating you...and you are going to end up wanting to kill yourself because you are going to feel like there is nothing important or satisfying in this world. there is something more trust me, God can help you...and i know i may sound like an old lady or something but im dead serious, with him you will find an inexplicable inner joy and you will no longer have those wants for these mystical powers, because all of that is fake!! But God is real...and with him you will never be confused, he is the answer..the only answer..and the more you get away from him..the more lost you will feel...and the worse your life will be, God is the only answer!!
I cant help you but maybe you can help yourself. You like to use your imagination so why don't you use it productively and start writing your own stories. For instance when you have a boring day think of how in this alternate reality it could have went and put it on paper. Maybe you can find peace of mind in your own creativity.
It would probably be best for you to talk to someone about this.Sounds like depression to me.The desire to have super powers is usually caused by feelings of powerlessness.I'd say put the Potter books away for now and find something that interests you in the real world .There are many, many things one can do that are not superficial.Start a new hobby, develop new interests .Do something you have always wanted to do.Action is the best cure for depression! Good luck!
how can you really look at the great and marvelous creations of life and actually compare our creator to a magician?
think of the human eye for example
consider the complexity of the (know and/or unknown)universe
the list goes on and on

maybe you should get professional help, don't think conversating on the internet is going to be your cure
That is because you are very intelligent. Actually this world is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery. When a soul becomes board with this world that means they have more than likely done practically everything their is to do in other lifetimes. Their soul knows this and they are dissatisfied with the illusion. So they want a deep real meaning to life. That is a sign of real intelligence. I would suggest to you to read Bhagavad Gita as it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada Tells all about mystic powers, reality, illusion, karma, reincarnation, in great detail. Tells how to get full satisfaction and the greatest pleasure out of life in a spiritual way. Don't settle for less. I didn't and I am blissful. you can read it on line on asitis.com or go to harekrishnatemple.com lots of good info. It will totally help you it helped me and I use to feel like that.
