cheerzzzz
absolutely its down to people's perceptions of reality.
If you mean the events of the world, yes, they are perfectly neutral. Its our perception that brands them good or bad.
That is true, your conscious makes it either good or bad. It depends on how you were raised and what your beliefs are. Your beliefs are what give you a conscious.
its all relative

what is good for a human is bad for a tiger (humans are thriving, tigers are going extinct), to a tiger we humans are a great evil

good=life bad=death, but even this is relative to life (from the point of view of life)
We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.....How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in your life you will have been all of these...Appreciation can make a day - even change a life, Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary. ...Waste no more time talking about great souls and how they should be. Become one yourself!....Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.....All of us are born for a reason, but all of us don't discover why. Success in life has nothing to do with what you gain in life or accomplish for yourself. It's what you do for others...Be nice and smile to everyone you meet. You don't know what they are going through, and they may need that smile, and treasure it..
It is very difficult to define what is good or what is bad. But generally, hurting someone can be called bad. The strength of badness depends upon who you are hurting. For example, if you hurt one who hurts you, it is less sin than if you hurt an innocent person.

Hurting a beast is generally a less sin than hurting a human being assuming there is sufficient good reason. Some people may be hurt when I say this. Many say that beasts are better than human beings. I do not agree with them. Human birth is the best of all births.
Good quote.
From the view point of an orthodoxed christian the mohammedans are bad, and for the orthodox mohammedans the christians are!!
And so on and so forth with all dualities.
Rich x poor,
Up x down,
Male x female,
whites x blacks,
thiests x ethiests,
communists x capitalists
darkness x light
etc, etc.
But all these seems to be duals are not contradictory
but complementory only if you go deeper in to it!
Yes, no poor man longs to be a poor man forever, but trying constantly to become rich, though his lips are cursing the riches!!
Yes, like the darkness constantly trying to become light, and vise versa!!
So, good and bad are from one's stand point, and nothing the absolute or 'k' constant ever!!

In Instein'ian words, there found nothing is constant in terms of Place and as well as Time in this whole universe. That is, there is no absolute "space-time",
but relative only.
Like wise, i verily say unto you,
There is no absolute good and absolute bad,
but only a relative judgement from one's own stand point and one's own wishful gains only!!
A child does not differentiate between things. There is no good or bad things for a child. The lesson we can learn from child-psychology is " To accept " whatever comes in our way.

When a person develops a quality to accept , he becomes presentable. People approach him without any reservations. He receives as well as becomes receivable by others.

Failures can not be considered as bad. we can view it as an experience to approach the same subject from a different angle. Failure is a stepping stone for success.

Struggles, difficulties, stress are different forms that makes a person to work against odds and prepare him to face the problem with courage. The life of Mahatma Gandhi illustrates three things. His legacy is courage, lesson truth, weapon love. His life is a monument. He now belongs to the mankind. There is no such thing as bad or good for Mahatma. He made his abode whether in South Africa or Sevagram in India as a heaven.

A square, rectangle, a cube or a circle are only figures. We can shape these figures into beautiful articles according to one's taste.

A rose has thorns but we should think not of the thorns but the beauty of Roses.

Hydrogen sulphide smells rotten but it is one of the important chemical agents.

Tenali Raman appeared to have acted foolish but he had the capacity to make others laugh heartily.

Rains may flood bur construct dams to store water for irrigation/ drinking.

If you call a toss correctly, you win. It is not that head means win or tail means lose. If this attitude gets clear in mind, there is no such thing as bad or good.
If you are living in a civilised society, good and bad both will exist. You can not think as you like in the society. If so, it will be very difficult to you to live amidst the public.
It is true that there is no such thing as either good or bad,but the attitude, behaviour and perception of individuals make it look like that. For example Happiness and Sorrow are not absolute things but only relative things. Here, let us consider a rich man who gets a profit of Rs.100,000/- in a year and another man who earns Rs.50/- a day. If we compare the degree of happiness in these two persons, we may find that one earning only Rs. 50/- per day is much more happy than the other one. Similarly, if one has to face consequences of road accident ,it may be due to his rash driving or diversion of attention etc. not because of his/her bad luck.
Therefore, our objective in life should be :
- Our every action should help someone on this earth;
- Always try to help others in getting their work done;
- Never consider another man as useless or of no use to you;
- Make humanity as way of life.
If I am very angry and kill someone because I think it is a good idea then thinking would make it so. But what if you are the person about to be killed and you think it shouldn't happen? There need to be laws, rules, commandments or something to clarify human thinking. We are not perfect thinkers and often not even logical, rational or reasonable.
Goodness will bring joy, bad things will bring pain. Focus on what you want to attract to yourself and it will come to you. Learn to listen to your emotions to guide your way. Like-minded people will gather to-gather, practicing either good or bad , giving the energy more power. Make the world a better place by associating with people who are trying to make the world a better place.
