What is the word for assisted suicide from a doctor?
Answer:
Murder. That's why he is in jail.
Eutanasia?
Euthanasia, although doctors don't like to use that term, preferring physician-assisted suicide.
euthanasia is the practice of terminating the life of a person or animal in a presumably painless or minimally painful way, usually by lethal injection.
This definition does not require the individuals approval so in my mind is not the same as assisted suicide.
you got your answer but I want to add that anyone who thinks it is murder should go visit a nursing home and see the victims of their own broken bodies..just lying there with feeding tubes looking at the pretty lights on the ceiling..people with MS that have been there ten years looking at the ceiling with there full mental capacity,..the young man that had a four wheeling accident and lays with tears in his eyes for five years, unmoving but thinking...it's called mercy, not murder and I hope if I'm ever in that situation someone would have mercy on me.
Euthanasia. It comes from the greek word that means "good death".
Manslaughter.
