Why Do People Commit Suicide ?
Answer:
Feeling so utterly trapped in their own misery that they want the misery to end, and they decide suicide is the only way out. I have read a number of books on this issue, and contrary to popular belief, the suicidal people are not people who want to hurt themselves (aka masochistic), they are not even in the same category with people who cut themselves or do other bodily harm. These are people who want to be happy more than anything else in the world, and when they find themselves in circumstances where there is no way out of the surrounding unhappiness, abuse, grief, whatever their case may be, they commit a suicide in an attempt to get out of this situation, to escape the misery and plunge into the unknown of the afterworld and in some cases even into the hope of reincarnation, thinking that anything out of this abuse, this misery, this loss, this grief, this pain would be better than the situation these people find themselves trapped in. Nothing is more destructive in a human nature than feeling trapped in an undesirable situation with no hope of a way out. Their suicide is an attempt to break free, attempt to find hope, to get out of here, to be anywhere but here.
Hope this helps.
they hate there lives
Because something has happened and they feel suicide is the only way out?
1. Because they are unhappy.
2. Because they wish to make someone else unhappy.
Because they feel overwhelmed and usually suffer from depression.
Revenge..
Because they are in sever depression or they have nothing to live for and feel worthless or because of a mental illness.
They have lost hope for the future. They have given up on waiting for things to improve.
because thay cant live
depression
All of the above and also out of anger towards others whom they perceive have hurt them. Sometimes the "I'll show them and boy, will they be sorry", takes control. Also many people die attempting suicide who really intended only to stage an attempt and get rescued. Somehow the person who was supposed to show up and rescue them did not make it through no fault but that they were clueless as to what the person was going to do.
They commit suicide because they are bloody cowards.Escaping from the world is not the solution to the vicissitudes of life. We should all stay in here and make a difference. Those ups and downs are the spices of life, they remove monotony and give us the reason to want to stay and leave our footprint on the sand of time.
Because their depressed state does not allow them to realize that any bad situation or feeling will improve! They feel totally helpless and hopeless and believe their "pain" will never be alleviated. But depression does pass!
Because they can't handle life any more, sometimes it just gets to bad and it's for some people not word the effort.
Suicide is for some a way out.
Depression, feelings of hopelessness, feeling overwhelmed by life, lack of self-worth, feelings of being trapped by a situation with no way out, pressure of unrealistic expectations of something, feelings of failure, fear, pain, psychological disorders and deficiencies, stress, abuse, poverty, not being able to see past a current situation....
I am sure the list goes on because everyone views, reacts, and handles everything/ event/ situation differently.
because they have no hope left they have nothing to look forward to..nobody to love them..this is what THEY think. They get tired of fighting life.
People who try to commit suicide and those who actually do have a emotional and mental problems There know one reason why people try suicide But there alot of sign that let you now one one is suicide and those signs arent alway helpful either My daughter tried suicide and she was 1 pill or 1 hour away from death and the signs werent there she didnt seem depressed, she didnt give her stuff away she did isolate herself but alot of teens do that .My daughter was have problems with girls at school ,she thought she was ugly etc..But my daughter was on Zoloft which can make children more suicide and seen then 3 of her friends who have been on Zoloft have try thank the lord they didnt,My daughter has bipolar disorder, manic depressed and she has serve anxiety attacks, but my son has all that and more dont know how to spell them and he has never tried suicide and he truly has more issue mental than her. Im not sure if I help at all but the bottom line is those who try are the only ones who know why and those of us left behind wonder why and it hard not to blame yourself but it not yours or anyone fault
Do you imagine that everyone who commits or attempts suicide has the same reason? They don't. It's different for everyone.
too much negative emotions.
To me it's a matter of what's going on in their lives Certain needs haven't been met and those people feel that without the meeting of those needs, life is not worth living. That's the simple answer.
It is far more complex and is as diversified as the person who feels the need to remove themselves from this existence, and I don't think there is any one right answer.
People can want to commit suicide who have loving families and yet not want to hurt those, but cannot bring themselves to face another moment of whatever it is that means so much to them. Others may see that if they do so their families will be benefited in some way and the added bonus of not having to deal with their problems anymore is enough incentive to "seal the deal".
I don't think, actually I know, that there cannot be any one reason or answer. As individuals we all have things that mean so much to us and as such we all have a certain breaking point that could make us feel as if we cannot go on anymore, no matter how "sane" we or anyone else may think we are. Which by the way I don't believe is a factor either, namely "sanity".
Depression/Unhappiness
