Why are people more opt to swear and cuss when they're mad?

It is just the way they act, in a situation that makes them feel mad.
I don't know. But sometimes regular 'ol words just don't cut it and to let out a string of; holy ****, what the **** is his problems, why can't he have half a brain and not an *** for a brain; makes for a great release. I don't know why, I just know it works for me. Sorry I couldn't provide more insight.

When you're mad you aren't thinking of other peoples' perception of you. You don't have to watch your mouth, and curse words are generally used with extreme emotions anyway.
