How to get over a bad movie?

I went to watch Ratatouille with my family the other day, and there was just one thing I hated about it, but I still can't get over it.

*spoiler: plot spoiler follows*
If you watched the movie, you would know that Linguine, Gasteau's (the best chef that lived) son, doesn't know how to cook, and even under the guidance of Remy, the "little chef," also known as the rat, never learns how to. I have a BIG problem with that. If Gasteau's motto is, "Anyone can cook," then why is it that Gasteau's son can't? I think everyone should get a chance to at least to learn how to (not just the rat).
*end of spoiler*

I don't know why I am so bugged with that (this is stupid, I know). I can't get over it. I know it'll eventually fade off, but it just makes me want to do something about it... I'm a very worrisome person, and I find fault with everything (books, articles, movies, shows, etc).

So, how do I get over these little things?

Answer:
Watch something else that's so much better you forget about that pile of crap or complain about it to all of your friends and coworkers until you've gotten it out of the system.
Man, you must drive yourself nuts at times! Maybe you should stop going to movies for a while.
It's the IRONY of the best chef in the land, having a son who can't cook, hahahaha!? Get it, the best chef begets a non-chef! Hilarious...

If you don't find it funny now, sorry, sounds like no sense of humor might be your tragic flaw...
First of all, not every person can develop the cooking skill. Some people are just basic. And that includes just about every subject out there. There are just some things some people will never be good at. How do you get over it? By realizing that there are more important things to focus on, like whats your skill?
Stay away from the movies...Read a book..
go watch another movie maybe one youve seen or a book you really loved whatever gets ur mind off it
Well, I'll have to admit: I thought the story line of Ratatouille was cute. But I DIDN'T like the rats! I hate rats in real life because they live in filth and carry the worst types of disease. So anytime I see a rat I run the other way (or call out the exterminator). So that was offensive to me, to have rats portrayed as ordinary "human" types of animal. Why couldn't they have used ants, or butterflies, or something else "clean"??!
I can see how the son not being able to cook was a puzzling twist for you, but just chalk it up to the fact that this was a fairy tale!
first of all don't spoil..I couldn't read all of your question..but the ONLY way to get over a bad movie...is to watch another QUICKLY..whether at home OR rent an even worse movie..

and then that other movie doesn't seem so bad..
OK - first, the movie is illogical. a good father who believed that everybody can cook, would either teach his son, or quit believing something that was obviously untrue.

But that would have been a different, less funny movie.

I get bugged by illogical stuff , too, but you really will be a lot happier if you ease up a little. I know, easier said than done.

Well, how about applying your love for logic ( a good thing0 to this problem.

It is not logical for you to waste more than a minute of your time thinking about this. It is illogical. the writer's wrote the movie that way. You would have written a different movie.
Probably a more meaningful movie. No matter how much time you spend worrying about it, the facts are not going to change. So why let it control you - which is what is happening.

I really think you don't want to be consumed by this, but you need to act on it - force yourself to think about something else when this fills your brain, for instance.

Also, if you wanted, you could write an editorial or essay about this, for the school paper or local paper. Sometimes writing it all down helps clear it from your brain.
He meant that ANYONE can cook. Not EVERYONE can cook.

I liked the move but had difficulty with the puppeteering with the hair.

I like rat movies... "The Secret of NIMH", "Flushed Away." etc..
