I know we all like nice things, I am one of them too. And I completely agree that going to college and finding a decent job is wise.but that is NOT what life is about. Yeah, you make money to pay the bills and live - but it really doesn't make you a happy person. Material things get old, they burn, they get stolen, but people will always exist.
