What do you think is the #1 thing that shows confidence?
Random question :P
Answer:
Look people in the eyes when you talk to them.
a smile :D
nothing bothers them, like no matter what ppl say they just laugh
looking at people in the eyes while talking, a firm handshake, always being yourself no matter what people think.
A firm, slow, strong tone of voice
Just being yourself. Works for me.
actually looking people in the eyes (while speaking) doesn't reveal confidence, I only look people in they eyes when I am attentively listening, when I speak (and it's usually) so I can gather my thoughts I am looking all over the place LOL, but when I do finally find my words I do look, but then I glance in another direction if I begin Hunting for my words, so it's relative. the whole look in the eyes thing is just a construction IMO. But I think the number one thing that shows you have confidence is your gait, mos def. you know what I take that back you can sorta tell when someone isn't confident by the WAY they look at you when they do, you know , so to an extent the whole eye contact thing has some merit IMO, but I still think it's relative to that person and how it is THEY communicate, some pple are shy some pple have low confidence, some pple have high confidence, so it is what it is.
