My god,how to handle my depressions?

help me,i am so down..

Answer:
Good news is hard to come by when you have depression, but there is good news. Depression is a very treatable illness. You feel like crap and it's so hard to get out of bed in the morning, let alone help yourself, but that's exactly what you have to do. Take yourself off to a good mental health professional, your doctor or a counsellor. Make sure it's someone you trust. If you don't feel comfortable with them, keep looking until you find one you do feel comfortable with.

You need to be upfront and tell them exactly what's going on. If you're nervous or afraid, write down your feelings and show that to the doc or counsellor. Taking this first step will be the hardest part, after this it gets easier, because you'll be feeling better. When you're depressed you feel all alone. Believe me, you're not alone. There are a lot of us who suffer from it, but it can be fixed, so please take that first step today.
Hope this helps.

I understand. I too am suffering from depression, but have gone to my doctor and had medications prescribed, to help me correct the imbalance of chemicals in my brain. I have been on them for nearly three months now and started feeling better, after only one month. When I have taken them for four months I will be well enough to come off the pills.
I have suffered from this problem before and medication is the easiest way to correct it. Don't expect an overnight cure, be patient. Without help, your chances of getting better, will be greatly reduced.
It is not uncommon for people to get depressed at different times in life and for different reasons. Try to step away from the situation and analyze what is making you feel this way. Often times, people get sad for things, that later seem minor.

Regardless, please know that you are not alone. The number one best thing to do when you are depressed is to pray and seek support and encouragement from family and friends. Know that God is with you and cares deeply for you. Take a minute to pray to him and ask for comfort. It is comforting to know that Jesus suffered just as we do. The closer you are to God, the more you will be able to understand the meaninglessness of worldly things and the importance of life after death. Look up Jeremiah 29:11 for comfort. God Bless!
