Do "highly intelligent" people daydream alot than the not so intelligent ppl when they are bored?

a freind of mine is always daydreaming...it always seems that shes always in her own little world..shes a classic introvert...while others are chatting and laughin its more likely she'll be seen blank staring throught he window..i heard that these type of folks could of above average intelligence..what i wanna know is why shes always daydreamin even when ppl are around her laughin and havin fun...could her interests be more advanced ? or shes just bored..honest answers plz..

Yes, she's probably bored with what's going on around her. This is no negative comment on what you're doing or what you're like, but she obviously has something which she feels is more interesting than what's going on.

A study done showed that people who are low IQ (75-80 range) make better drivers. All there concentration is on driving, it takes their full attention. More intelligent people get bored and distracted easier, and have accidents.
(Just because your a bad driver doesn't mean your smart, btw...sorry to all you hopefuls out there!)
Honest answer - I am intelligent, atleast people around me think so. I daydream a lot. Tell your friend that she is someone special, special like me :-)
It sounds like she just may be somewhat shy or withdrawn in social situations. Her defense mechanism for handling herself during these situations may be to feign disinterest and deep thought.
