I know some teens commit suicide seriously, while some teens just to scare their parents. Laters are mostly taking few pills than that is required to kill or jump from 2nd floor and broke a leg, cut wrists not too deep etc... But I cannot say the percentage of shows and real ones.
no its definatley not considered rebelion its is nothing but a tradgedy no problem is too big that you need to take your own life as a parent it terrifies me that what some of my friends parents went through could happen to me just remember that things cant get better if you are dead and if they are that bad now that you think you would be better off dead you are at rock bottom so the only way is up .so smile tell yourself that you are special and that you deserve nothing but the best and face your problems head on you will always win in the end
I think your mixing it up a little.
If you mean people who self harm and hurt themselves then this tends to be more of a cry for help, that they are unable to do themselves.
If you mean people who actually go thru and commit suicide generally the person in question does not do it to spit their parents.
Teen suicide is on the rise, I take it very seriously, my teen has told me on acouple of occasions that she wanted to kill herself, she had something tradget happen to her, she was seeking help, ( a scream for help) she didn't want to do it, but she felt hopeless and it was a way out, not having to deal with what happened, i believe when teens say it they mean it and when they have no where to turn they follow through, fortunatly my daughter has support, and i listen, i feel sorry for the kids who don't have this, or for those who 's parents think they are rebelling, there is more going on.
