Why do i feel so free when I'm...?

sk8boarding. i mostly suck and everything but i just feel so accepted and free by the sk8 scene in my town I've made tons of friends that are so much like me and teach me stuff why do i feel so free around them and not around my bff's?

Everybody has something like this. For me it's sports. Even if you aren't the best player, it just feels good going out there and competing. I recommend you listen to this song called "Kick Push" by Lupe Fiasco. It's a really catchy hip hop song about skateboarding, and might show you what I'm talking about. I never got really into skateboarding, but this song makes me wish I had sometimes.
