I am not a counselor so I don't know how helpful I would be.
1) first go see the dr and get help from counseloring and medicine.

Maybe start learning to meditate, or chanting a Buddha's name, one of them you can chant is Amitofo (buddha) or Kwan Yin. You can find out more about them online or on Buddhanet.com
a lot of time some mental issue we have can not be solve only by medince or see therapist. I found that myself, I was quiet depressed and although medicine helped but it was believe in Buddha and also chantingBuddha's name help you reduce bad deed.
have mental issue could be related to some bad karma we did in the past and I find it the most helpful in believe in Buddha. and also doing good deed.
of course, we do good because just want to not for reward.
but good reward will come back to you.
