Why do my angry expressions results in angry reactions when it's not directed at them?

I'm a total stranger to these people and them to me. Why are they taking my facial expression personally? Some people start to move away, turn away, ignore me, and snap at me in anger. Sometime I hear them mumble to the next person why is she looking at me like that in a angry tone. When I try to ask them what the problem is they get madder and do'nt answer. I AM NOT AWARE OF MY ANGRY EXPRESSION! I feel that I have a normal expression, but that clearly not the case. I AM NOT ANGRY! I experience this situation over 80% of the time. Most of the time the reaction happens when I walk into a place, instant hostility. I have'nt even spoken to anyone yet. I've been told I am a pretty girl. This situation mostly it's from women but some men to. So what do you think.

Answer:
Try practicing in the mirror.

Cultivate a slight smile (slight, don't go around grinning like a fool).

You may not be aware of it, but apparently you have an angry expression.

If you glare at people angrily, they conclude you're angry at them, for no reason.
What is inside is reflected outside. Give people some credit. they may be telling the truth.

If you weren't aware you couldn't say you are unaware.
Some people's normal expression is perceived as angry-looking. Does your mouth turn down at the corners? My husband's family has this problem.
Practice your normal expression in front of a mirror, then practice a small smile instead. You'll be amazed at the difference that smile can make. It isn't easy, but it is worth it.
I have been asked why do I look so angry and I tell them I'm not.A picture is worth a thousand words.I guess a face is too.Try practicing your facial expression in the mirror.Leave small mirrors around your home and see if you can catch a glimpse of what other claim to see.
sweetheart! it is irritating thats why it seems to get everybody pissed off.
... silly goose ... doncha know that people are mean? ... you tickle me ...
Get a mirror and practice also try to smile even if it's a little
I used to have the same problem, until I was venting it to a friend and asked her.Why do people look at me like I'm gonna rob the place, do I look like a criminal? She made me realize something I never thought of. I have black hair & very blue eyes, and people aren't used to seeing that very often. She said maybe there taken by your striking looks & appreciating them. I never thought of it that way because I'm used to it. It's just me. Also I have very thick eyebrows & I heard to thin them out. That also works. So now when people look @ me weird I don't take it personally, there just checking out my uniquiness, it works for me. So maybe you also have very striking looks too. I hope this helps you some. If not just ignore them. You know who you are.Peace
I have the same problem,in fact, I've lost jobs over it. People attack my "attitude", then I come to resent the attacks, and actually develop one. I know how you feel. I have been researching online for some medical excuse to hide behind so people will leave me alone at least at work. The only thing I can find is Trigeminal neuralgia, which can weaken facial muscles. Please keep in touch, I need some support. B
