Quickly I'm getting angry. How can I control this?
Answer:
Try to identify the reason for the anger in one of two ways: is it preceded by something (such as being hit) which causes an "automatic response"? Or is it a situation where anger has gotten you something you want/need?
In managing anger you can tend to control some of the overall problems of anger by simply leaving the situation. You won't be happy, but you may avoid problems.
You can try to observe others and see what they do when they get angry (you can ask them too) and find out what helps.
I find that certain patterns tend to emerge when I am angry: I didn't have a good nights sleep, I was hungry, I had drank coffee on an empty stomach, and so on.
Are there any patterns in your anger? Keep a record of when you get angry and why. Try to think of things you can do when you are not angry to distract yourself. Try to think of yourself as "another person" - if someone else was angry and you wanted to help them out what would you do? Now, try it on yourself.
i am dealing with the same thing...and i discoved that it's an art to control your feelings. You can cry,it's the best thing go alone somewhere and cry and your fury will dissapear.
Anger is a normal reaction to events that occur in the course of our lives: it cannot be prevented. However: there are at least two things that you can do when you feel it. The first is to recognize and note it without allowing it to interfere with your ability to think clearly. The second is to make an active decision whether to act on that anger in any way rather than "going on automatic" and behaving aggressively towards whatever stimulated your anger. The key is in maintaining the control of your mind over your emotions without denying them.
Breathe, stop, think, focus on the issue that is making you angry and figure out how you can handle it better, to get the outcome you want in a different way, a calmer approach always works in your favour as when you are angry NO ONE will LISTEN and that's what you need them to do.
