Examination cannot truly reflect a child's ability yes no give reasons for your answer?

Answer:
Yes and No.
It can at some extent. Highly depends on examination complexity and the context of abilities you are talking.
Elaborate your question and then we give better answer and reasoning.
Not always, I fared very badly at academic subjects because I rarely attended school.

I was classed by a local college as being a thicko.

When I had an IQ test done it was found to be reasonably high (132) so with a little assistance I got all of my qualifications with distinction.
Only reflect how much input has been store in the data bank.
Without the basic foundation of living human kind - the Dos.
Whatever data has been stored will not be able to retrieve it with creativity.
Look around at the I-Robots.
Ever wonder what is missing inside them?
Ever wonder how they live in misery like a desk-top?
Ever wonder who kick them on the butts with science and mathematics without the Dos?
The blunders and slip-ups with human errors in the creation of living human kind into mankind of intelligent design being created into a desk-top.

Ever wonder how they were all "Dying inside"
Maybe at that time. It is amazing what people can do when they put their minds to it.
It depends on how the child react to the examination but I could say its more of the yes answers because children expresses more authentic reactions to the instrument or device for examination unless the child side is complicated for ex are those which are gifted in which they project coplicated reaction to the devices which is used so there must be a categorical ways for the devices which i should say with level. if the first failed then the higher level may do
some children do not "fit" testing criteria. other's can't be labeled, nor should they be. Like snowflakes each is unique.
definitely not.they may not reflect a child's ability but they may give insight as to how this child thinks, whether or not they are a good "test-taker," where there weaknesses may lie,etc
i see children everyday that are extrememely gifted but will perform poorly in tests.the test may not be "culturally sensitive," that is, they may kno the answers for the questions being asked but may need the questions to be rephrased to their understanding.
also, the relevance of the tests.they may be capable of learning anything brought forward, for example, maths but may have been raised around cars, mechanics and the like so a test on maths or learning maths was never particularly relevant.it's not, however, that they cant grasp the mathematical concepts, they've just never had to use them as regularized/standardized as they are put on paper
