What always makes you smile no matter what's going on in life?

Watching my dog snore when he sleeps. Seeing my young son eat spaghetti. Watching children blowing bubbles. When someone is kind to me for no reason. Watching a homeless person's face as I give them a small bag of coins each week. Eating a chocolate brownie. Watching reruns of "I love Lucy". Seeing a new place for the very first time. Locking eyes with a baby and seeing their toothless grin peaking over their parents shoulder when I am in line behind them. Seeing a beautiful sunset in the winter by the ocean. When a police officer after pulling me over laughs when I tell him, "but officer I was just trying to get a bug off my windshield". Getting a card saying hello from an old friend. Making the absolute perfect chocolate chip cookie and eating them out of the oven. When my husband says he loves me everyday.
Thank God that we are not immortal
