When we know death is inevitable why are scared of it?

I don't understand how people can not be afraid. I think some people don't have the ability to truly comprehend the thought of going out of existence. I've had full blown panic attacks at moments when I allow myself to really think about it, so my solution is to immediately distract myself when those thoughts come into my head. Just because something is natural or inevitable doesn't mean it's easy to accept. I'm skeptical of people who say they have no fear.
Nobody is bothered about dying, it's the unknown that's the problem.
the unknown is a scary thing.
Because it's unprideictable
When people die you lose your chance to ever talk to them again
Think about your life without someone special to talk to because they passed
People are scared they won't have acomplished what they wated to in life and that they will have wasted everything
Because we do not want to die. We want to live forever and have fun forever. We have not yet experienced the other side.

For me personally I'm only scared of the when and how, not of death itself.
Yes because Inevitable things are meant to be scary. Its scary, because we can not change its fact by our will.
We dont know when, how, and where it happens...and its not pleasant feeling .
I for one am not afraid of dying because it is inevitable. I believe it's not dying that scares people but the way they may die does. I have faith in God and know that when my time comes I have fulfilled his purpose of why I was sent. Also I look forward to entering the gates of heaven and becoming an angel.

i mean, its gonna happen to everyone no matter how hard we try to stop it.
so why waste time worrying about something you have no control over..
Dieing is not what scares me its how I may go. The possibilitys for every one is endless. I just dont want to suffer as I have seen so many have. I do wish I could live more than just this life time though so I could spend them all loving and being with my hubby. I just dont think there is enough life times for that.
