Is psychological castration inevitalble in psychotherapy?

Answer:
good to learn about this. my wife has be all lined for us to see some psycho and if castration is part of the plan she can go by herself. to hell with that. glad tuned in. been trying to find out. that does it. i will get custody and the house and she can go get psyco-analyzed and "cured" for her next. i suspected as much.
only for the fearbound
Nah they leave that to marriage
Do you mean a psychologists lack of emotion or the ability for a patient to become emotionless through psychotherepy. Either way is possible but I would not say inevitable.
Well that really depends on what you mean by castration;
if you mean getting rid of baggage and stuff as a good thing then it is inevitable.
If you mean castration in the sense of a loss and view this as bad.
although why should you view the loss of negative issues as bad!!

Psychotherapy ultimately depends on your readiness and ability to reorganise your way of thinking after the cathartic realisations you may experience while undergoing psychotherapy.

For most people, psychotherapeutic awareness comes as a great source of wisdom and understanding with the ability to reorganise their lives in a more meaningful way.
