“Can computers and robots become more Intelligent than Human Beings?
Answer:
There is only one way that Artificial Intelligence could get extremely near Human Intelligence. There is a point of time that machines use parts of Humans brains in their logic computations.(Ore vise versa)
After having quantum devices added to this new part-human machine then a new race of machines with great intelligence come to living but I tell you their colony will not be more intellectual than Human beings!
well I'd like to say no, they only know what you teach them (although they think much faster) but there are self learnign robots now so who knows? I don;t think computers will ever truely think abstractly like humans can, they are just logic machines so I don't see them creating beasutiful works of art, although, they say everything in nature is based in numbers!
are brain is the most intelligent computer there is. people are becoming cleverer. computers and robots will follow and keep getting better.
Well yes and no,
Yes - The computers can constanly download information that us humans wouldnt even know about, the have the power and ability to get information and store it.
No - becuase the old saying " a computers only as smart as its programmer, thus it will have the same intelligence of the person who created it.
They already are.
the human brain is the greatest thing in the world unmatched.but it has 2 b used properly at proper times.suppose if u teach a robot 2 do such things at such specific times, then the robot will start 2 dominate.i think that u may have also seen the movie called "the matrix".i think it may b partly true and partly false.i know that film is not true but look at it at their angle and u'll c that that's entirely possible.
Certainly when you look at some varieties of humankind you can only hope so.
No because they are man made, we can pull the plug or turn it off at any point how would that be more intelligent lol, however they can hold more information than the human brain.
Theoretically they could, and I think it's possible that hardware powerful enough to support AI like that might be produced sometime in the next several decades perhaps.
But I would be surprised if anyone figures out how to program such hardware so as to effectively mimic the most characteristic aspects of the human mind, within the lifetime of anyone living today.
I have a friend who did a PhD a few years ago on something to do with artificial intelligence. We used to argue like mad about whether computers can truly think and behave intelligently.
I think they cannot and will not. Computers can certainly do things fast, but ultimately they are always doing what they do within the confines of a program that has been written. Whenever it makes a decision, it will be based on some logic somewhere in the program code. Even if it makes that decision in an instant, based on millions of stored examples, it is not intelligence.
They already are and in some cases, just as insensitive.
The question is, can they become self programming and self sustaining and to an extent then I'd say yes.
As far as I know computer are only as capable as their program allows. However with artificial intelligence the goal is to have computers that learn and even reproduce making either copies of themselves or an offspring. They are making great strides in this aspect but for now machines are only as intelligent and capable as their programing. In the future we could be facing a situation where our creation becomes self aware and ultimately we may be replaced as the dominant life form.
Definition of intelligent
Power of learning, understanding and reasoning. Mental ability
The computers learn what the human intelligence teaches to them
No-they can only be as smart as the programmer or designer makes them. Think you have been watching the movies such as ai too much. Just am trying to break the 600 point level-a computer can't be so honest!
Probably not. They can only be as intelligent as we can make them.
I suppose they can memorise more, as in you couldn't memorise a 3,000 word essay but a computer can (I suppose there are people with really good memories, but a computer can do it faster).
On the other hand, computers can't have emotions, they can't formulate opinions of their own like people can.
Why not? I asked the question if there was a silicone-based life form.
There could well be somewhere in the universe. If there is a silicon-based life form somewhere in the universe, all computers as we know them have to do now, is evolve.
