ALSO THERE ARE 2 TYPES OF THINGS U CAN BE A PSYCHOLLEGIST THAT IS WHAT I WANT TO BE THAT PERSON JUST HELPS PEOPLE IN THE THERE PROBS AND A PSYCIATRIST IS THE SAME THING BUT THEY GIVE OUT PRISCRIMTIONS (MEDICTION) AND GO TO MEDICAL SCHOOL TO SO MORE COLLEGE.
I don't think it is a good idea, because somebody can throw you of very easily like your friend.
i think psychology is a very interesting profession. If you have the knack for cracking what people think and what they'll do next, then you have a natural talent as a psychologist. And if you enjoy doing that, the profession could be for you.

If you decide that you don't want to go to school for that long you can become a social worker which only requieres a Master's degree in psychology. They can also do therapy but they won't be paid as much.
