If only god gives you what you can cope with why do so many people commit suicide?

Answer:
This can happen for many reasons. Some people become so overwhelmed in stress and going through situations that they just want out. Some do it for attention and don't mean to take it this far but it happens. There are people that have chemical imbalances and put on pills for depression and this can cause a person to take a life. Some go as far as leaving suicide letters pointing out specific people that cause him to want to leave the world and do this wanting them to feel guilt for the rest of their lives. Some do it because life becomes to painfull and they just give up hope in anything worth staying here for. Jim brown convinced a whole congregation by brain washing and his whole following committed suicide. The reasons go on and on....god gives us the ability to cope with life ...family and friends to look out for each other and our own free will. There is a dark side of things as well as a light side ... being a mortal being the spirital side of things are often a mystery. They say that everything happens for a reason all the bad and all the good. I guess we can only wait to know those answers when we come face to face with our higher being to understand all reason here on earth.
because gods not real?
ok so first of all the people who kill them selves are craxy stupid and need help no offence and they r judt drunk ot high.
God is real, he is just in the spaghetti and meatball form, all hail the flying spaghetti monster and his prophets, the pirates!
Well, I'm not precisely sure about this, but I think that it has something to do with the challenge and the learning of life. The point of life is to learn (so some say). Especially if you believe in re-incarnation, where you learn something new every life you have. Commiting suicide is giving into the pressure of the challenge set before you. So some say.
People who commit suicide tend to have a mental disorder that makes everything "seem" much worse than it is.
many don't know this, they deny God, many have troubles that need medical attention and do realize it, many feel the have failed God and themselves
Because such people are having loads of Mental problems, some of those people have been affected by satan himself.
Holy crumb!

As far a Christians go: maybe because they are in the frame of mind that even God doesn't care.

Faith in God is very weak - if at all - at the moment of decision to commit the act of suicide.

And yeah, Bin there Dun that tried that more than once.
Because they are not happy on earth and they are not thankful for the wonderful creations God gave us. All you need to worry about is your being close with God, making your peace with thou art and reading the bible. Just pray and things will get better.
All deaths are a form of suicide, we just don't know it, usually.

Furthermore, most don't want to know it and don't even want to hear anything related to it. Watch what happens here.
God does not give us more than we can handle, suicides evidently were: 1) too scared to deal with whatever the issue was, 2) not emotionally strong enough to deal with the issue due to mental difficulty 3)refused to seek help with the problems 4) determined for whatever reason that they didn't want to deal with it 5) they were unhappy with life,6) reasons we'll never know7) LACK OF FAITH IN GOD TO HELP THEM DEAL WITH IT
