How can you make a negative thinker be a positive thinker?

Answer:
You can't make anyone do anything. They have to want to do it for themselves. You can stay positive around them. You have to be careful not to get sucked in by their attitude. Which could cause you to become depressed. Chances are, their attitude is a deeper issue with themselves and as far as I know you are not a registered therapist. You can't help someone, who does not want to help themselves. All you can do is keep being your positive self. Its up to them to find the help they need.
Out of everything negative find something positive about it and focus on it.

They left the negative thinkers and came to the New World to embrace a positive outlook.
