infanticide - is killing children or babies
Munchausen's - is where a mother makes sick or purposfully kills an infant/child while looking to be the hero working to save the child
Matricide - is killing ones own mother
The term "Medea Complex" is sometimes used to describe a parent--especially a mother--harming the child, but is more accurately used to describe "vengeful filicide". But Medea did not kill her children to prevent suffering, and she was a princess--not a slave.
