Me n my best frnd had a crush on d same guy...she got him...they broke up...she blurted out bout me...it's bad

hi...i'm 19 and in uni. me n my best frnd in uni had a crush on the same guy...she got him though. i just wasn't as alluring or beautiful as she was. they recently had a break up and she didn't take it too well. we friends (me, he and my best friend) were together that evening and she got drunk and yelled about how much she loved him and stuff...but that stupid girl blurted my name out and said that i too liked him..and the guy and all was all ears. god...how embarrased i was. i've been avoiding that guy after that evening but i find that we bump into each other too often. yesterday he tried to strike up a conversation with me in the library but i just left abruptly with a stupid excuse. i find myself in the same room with him too often these days for it to be a coincidence. and each time i'm just too embarrased to face him after wat my friend said. she made it appear too dramatic...the way she said that i too liked him. wat do i do? the guy seems to really want to have a word.

Answer:
Maybe that is why your friend and him are not together any more, she may have been too dramatic for him.
Now that she has blurted it all out, I think it is an excellent time to see if you and he are compatible.he seems to be interested in you, and we know that you are interested in him, I say go for it...good for you.thank you!
first of all do you think its a coincidence you two bieng in the same room alot? i dont think so. you have a crush right, obviously your friend dosnt mind letting dude know, so why not persue it. follow it ,youll never know unless you try.
Talk to him it is best that things are cleared up before they get complicated. If not it will affect your studies by keeping you too occupied. After the talk, i am sure things will take a positive turn. Whether its the studies or the relation. Good Luck, hope that you get things cleared up soon! XD
