I worry a lot. how do i control this? (serious answers only please)?

I don't know if this is already a serious case but I get worried easily - not on small things, serious things about life - but when I worry, I get really really sad and down..how can I control this?

Answer:
There is nothing you can benefit from worrying especially about something that hasn't happened yet. How could you possiably know what the situation is until you get there if you get there. Worrying about things also makes you concentrate on your fears which could subconsciencely make you manifest your fears. This is actually very common and dangerous. Think about what you have and develop your skills and grow as a person, this will also help you deal with such situations if they should come up. Do what makes you happy and experience everything you can when you are happy and positive you will enjoy life and avoid more problems than if you sit and worry about what might happen.
boost your selfconfidence by finding a hobby or excercise. And find your targert of your life. It will help you.
you might have ocd (in that you worry compulsively) or depression. you should talk to a therapist if you feel comfortable doing so--he/she might be able to help you find ways to control your worries
Devote some time each day to your worries. Repeat the most outrageous ones aloud. Like say, "I want my plane to crash into the ocean so I can get eaten by sharks." You are never NOT going to be a worrier--but you can control when and how and what you worry about. This is a serious method of controlling excess worry--I saw it on a 20/20 type show several months ago.
u can go c a threpist
Your fears are out of control. Maybe you think of problems too much. We can sit and worry but did you know that unless it is life threathing, it is a sin to worry. So try and change your thoughts. You'll begin to feel better and get more rest. Try and get busy so that you don't have time to think about problems, once, a problem arizes and all you can do is worry. Think of someone else's problems and your will see and learn that you are fortunate.

CONTROL THE CONTROLLABLES.....
smoke pot! SMOKE POT!!!!!!!!!
If I were you I would look for a good book that deals with this in the self-help section of a book store or on the internet. In specific detail, I recommend a book called Stop Worrying and Start Living by Dale Carnegie. Google this book and see what you find. Try to find a site like Amazon or Ebay to get the best deals on it.
This is natural to be worry a lot ,let me tell u i had this kind of problem before, i didn't know what to do ,it was a very tough situation for me ,sometimes you can't do nothing about it but what you can do is to try to be familiar with the situation you 've been worried about and say to yourself that this can't hurt you it's just something that happen every day why am i worry about it ,if you do you gonna have more confidence of yourself ,and you ain't gonna worry about this thing anymore
maybe it would help if you talked to some one and shared your worries. or if you do not want to talk to anyone write it all down. try to do things that will keep your mind off of them. like reading, exercising , watching a movie..etc
Sure thing Sister. PRAY!! Every time a worry comes up stop yourself and ask God to cover it in prayer. Imagine a God's giant hand that is outstretched and you load up all your worries into this hand. Now, imagine another hand coming down on top of that hand and He takes them away. It works for me.
