A cold shower will work better than a warm one, or better yet switch the tempuratures as you go. You won't like the feeling of the sudden tempurature chage for a few seconds, but you'll be much more awake after that. You can try preparing yourself for the rush by splashing cold water on your face first thing. Another good thing is to expose yourself to natural light as soon as possible. energy drinks like gatorade or powerade. also take a lot of vitimins those give you more energy and make sure you are eating enough. When I mean eating enough i mean, eating the right foods like fruits and veggies. Best of luck!!
well taking a hot shower or cold for that matter lol would definitely wake u up and there s also this caffeine soap u could use in the shower in the morning, o and waking up to the smell of breakfast cooking or ppl talking softly could probably wake u up and make sure you get enough sleep at night or you could set ur alarm 30 min early and just sit up in bed for a little while , u could also try a new coffee flavor OK well theres some ideas for you

Splash cool water on your face. I check my e-mail in the mornings and I look forward to that, so it kind of gets me out of bed. Also, think of all the good things that could happen that day.. it also helps to write yourself a nice little note and leave if by your alarm clock.

actually an apple is better for waking someone up than a cup of coffee. And if you buy a lavender sachet I find it's very good for relaxing your face muscles and making you feel more alert. (most people use them to get to sleep though. I guess I'm just different.)
Try going to sleep with your blinds or shades halfway open. If you wake up when the sun is out the light will help to wake you up.
you could also try listen to an upbeat and fast song and just shake around and stretch to that. ( I swear by this every morning ^_^)
If you have access to a swimming pool try swimming for about 15 minutes (just get up 30 minutes early) and if not just jump rope or do jumping jacks for a few minutes. Don't exert yourself or make yourself tired or sweaty you just want to really stretch all your muscles and get your heart beating faster.

You might need a new mattress. If your mattress is 8-10 yrs old, or just terribly uncomfortable in general, it might be worn out, causing you to also be worn out.
