Am i trapped in the uk?
i have bpd, ive suffered with psychological problems & major depression since 15, ive endured alot of trauma in my life, im presently on a waiting list to be assesed for therapy.
im 29.
problem is i have ambition, and after suffering greatly for so long, i feel a great eagerness for my life to come together,& for me to achieve happiness & security, & the love of somebody nice, a great girl.
one of my main ambitions is to emigrate from the uk to somewhere hot n sunny so i can build a new life.
but with everything im coping with right now, plus the fact ive never been employed, im worrying how im going to achieve this much desired dream..
right now, i live in a one bedroomed apartment, not owning much, plus i dont have friends, never had a partner,
and i try to find the will to keep focused on them long term ambitions,but is hard because i cant see how im goin to achieve them..
can anyone put a positive perspective on it for me,so i can adopt it to, instead of my hopeless outlook

OK, remember, take 1 step to the left. That is all it will take to change the perception of anything we see. So, go on.step to the left..waiting...ok good. look, the lighting is different, what you are looking at basically didnt change but the little things around it did. See the morning sun is brighter now than 5 minutes ago, so dark shadows are leaving, I hear the birds chirping. Oh come over here and go look that those ocean wave rolling, they are beautiful..
You are not stuck in the UK. You have many issues on your plate and the are not easy ones to deal with, You must tackle on problem at a time and take that problem and begin working on it 1 step at a time. You can only handle 1 problem and you must break it down into smaller pieces so that you dont choke. Smanll pieces, small steps and soo without you realizing that problem is not a problem anymore because you now have to skills to handle it.
Then...take another problem and do the same process. This is what your therapist will tell you when you finally get an aoot with them. We are all here for you, no need to panick, we got you and won't let you fall, OK? We won't.

It would be useless. It would last in your mind for about 5 seconds.
Becoming positive and upbeat is a skill. You'll become better at it with practice just like everything else.
Look at your situation and do your best to view it in a positive perspective. Then you'll become better and better at it.

you could move to the us, you have an accent, you could pick up any lady with just your voice and i think with you would be happier (if you had a woman). you could also help out at a local hospital or therapy center and see other people in worse conditions than you and you could help them instead of wallowing in your misery.
Who told you about BPD (bipolar disorder, I assume). There's no such thing, bro. First of all, good idea to get off the psych drugs. Then read the site below. It has lots of good info on the negative influence of psychiatric mantra that everyone seems hypnotized by. Also read Dianetics. Lots of interesting data on what part of your mind is actually messing you up. I see its influence via your email above. Good luck.
This not having a job is a major obstacle for emigrating anywhere. Work on the depression first. Wellbutrin worked for me. You don't get the side effects as with the tricyclics. Get on a regular schedule, and work on getting out more.
