Within The Human Mind, What Creates Evil Urges? ( Warning ~ Murture Content )?

Hello my name is Michael Phillips and I have been wondering about this for a long time.

Within everyone, I Belive there is the ability to do acts that are considered immoral or/and evil.

Now some if not most of the time the urge to wrong another comes from the person being wronged themselves in one way or another.

Here are two examples:

A) You have discovered that a close friend has been greatly wronged by someone you know has been not plesent towards your friend in the past.

Alot of people, including myself would want to see that person suffer for this, wether this urge is acted upon depends on ones personality I belive.

B) You have discover a person you love deeply, a familiy member or perhaps partner has been raped and beaten.

Most would want to Kill that person or make them suffer greatly for this unspeakable and vile act.

The above or urges brought about by the need for Vengence, but some always feel theses urges, murders, rapeists.

Why is this?

Answer:
who knows? maybe they werent breast fed, maybe they were dropped on their head once too often. maybe the devil made them do it.since science and medicine cannot fully explain the inner workings of the human mind we can only look at a criminals past and present state of mind and TRY to atempt any sort of understanding as to why they snap. the fine line between rational and irrational is delicate and definate. But what makes one step over the line. every insane act has to have an antecedant-something that triggers the bad behavior
or action.for some people it doesnt take much to send them over the edge, while others take longer to reach boiling point.
we will never know why someone takes a gun and kills for no reason. But I submit that there is a reason why these things happen. I do not know the reason but it existed. By the way I have school shootings in mind as my example. we have no idea why they happen but you can get 600 various scientists, criminologists, police officers, and other professionals to offer their explanation. But we simply will never know the real reason. Was it the devil? was it a chemical imbalance in the brain? was it drug induced? we may never know, because the mind is so complex.
Life is Yin/Yang or good and bad (or evil if you will). Society is structured on crime and punishment. If you steal, you go to jail and so forth. we are all capable of doing horrible things to our fellow man. We may drive cars and use eating utensils and try to live in an orderly society and do any number of things that seperate us from the lower animals, but bear in mind, beneath it all we are still animals ourselves. we are driven by the same urges as other animals: self preservation,
sexual desire, the need to gather food (we shop dont we?) the urge to hunt, and if provoked we will attack, we defend our young. So we are animals, oh yes we are also territorial( we put up fences to keep others out).
what really seperates us from other animals is our capability to reason. Sure we are killers but we're not going to kill today.
and thats what we do when we get urges to kill and hurt. On a sub conscious and conscious level we weigh action against consequences. The last thing I will say is as a species, I think the lower animals are better than man. Why?
Because you dont see the other animals f***ing each other over-do you?
A) be more clear, spell it out

maybe somebody needs more freedom

maybe somebody should have his or her butt kicked

B) if you know somebody raped someone, see what you can do to put them in prison
Just take the Christian cop out and blame Satan. Here's an example, I cheated on my wife with my secretary! Satan made me do it by making her top heavy! See how easy it is to absolve yourself of any responsibility when it comes to managing your own behavior?
It goes back to the darwinian theory of evolution... Think of it as one of our primevil characteristics as humans! In order for one tribe to be sure that they are safe from the attacks of another, the tribe understands that a retaliation on any attack must be inflicted in order to preserve the peace of that said tribe. It is an old fashioned form of justice that we constitute into our daily emotions on a smaller or larger scale.
seek god's wisdom on such subjects/go to jail ur choice
It is not unusual or immoral to think vengeful thoughts. That's not really what I would call evil, because ultimately the vengeance is perceived to be a good thing - the victim of the violent act feels relief when the vengeance is fulfilled. However, it is illegal and immoral to act on the vengeful thoughts. Let the law handle it.

I don't know what causes people to act in a truly evil way. Total lack of respect for others, total lack of remorse and guilt. I don't know what would cause a person to be like that.
watch Hannibal Rising. These things happen when people lose their conscience. but you make a wonderful point that we in America take for granted. We started this country with hopes of a new start and made freedom and liberty the conerstone principles in our constitution. Now that we are all grown up, we have lost sight of what that truly means. Freedom means you aren't being forced by one way or the other to conform. Our foreign policy is forcing our views on the rest of the world, but it is disguised in political rhetoric as "the best interests of the United States". So what does this have to do with your question? Well, you can lose your conscience by bad things happening or naturally trying to do what you believe is right, just as the US has.

Overall, there would be no heaven without hell, no good without bad, no poverty without filthy rich, no moral without immoral, no intelligence without stupidity. I believe there is a balance between the opposites and all we do is steal good things from each other whether it is considered legal or not.
Everyone is born with a good side and a bad side you just have to pick what time to use the side you need or even desire the choice is clearly up to you
If only we knew what makes people follow these urges and what keeps us from them we would have a much safer world.
I believe its our conscience that guides us..
Yes we all have thoughts, how we fight off these urges makes us who we are...
The mind.. what a piece of human machinery..
