How do you think a change in wealth would effect you as a human being?

Answer:
Make me feel more secure.
Wealth would make me feel secure. No more worrying about bills or the future.
I would be free to have a child and not worry about paying for daycare. Maybe even be able to stay at home in stead of having to work. Wealth would change so many things that I am slowly working towards right now.
A change in wealth is relative for each individual. If I had a sudden windfall I don't think I would change as an individual or even change my lifestyle. It would change how much I could give away to those who need it. On the other hand, someone who is not as financially secure as I am would have more incentive to put themselves first if money came their way.
I guess that depends on how big a change we are talking about. Since I struggle to get by, a big change in wealth would leave me dealing with other issues to think about. I think I would be basically the same person, but relieved from money worries and able to do more things I want to do.
I would have my grandkids college paid for when they grow up, pay off my son's home, and all their bills, I'm blessed because I am dept free, but I would love to own a house of my very own someday.
No one thinks money will change them, but it does...
It's easy to forget where you came from.
If anyone were to have a change in wealth they would change as a person. We only think on a one-sided level but look at it from both sides i.e. if you grew up having butlers, maids, and chefs then instantly your family became "broke" and you were forced to become a blue-collar worker could you survive? Alas, If someone were to win the lottery, their life would definitely change and they would try to fulfill all of the things that they have only dreamed of.
I think for many people, the pursuit of a goal is more important and fulfilling than the achievement of it. From my perspective, an increase in wealth would help me to soothe the sadness I've had for not being able to afford some of the better opportunities in life for my kids. My lifestyle is what it is, and I generally dislike the way "rich people" act so would make a concerted effort to avoid being like them. A decrease in wealth would have a tougher effect to deal with, as I would have even less time to pursue any activities that are just fun, 'cuz I'd be having to work 2 or 3 jobs, probably burn myself out, get crabby, etc.
