Is research or experimental psychology a great career??

Hello, I am a student in college transfering over to pursue my BA in psychology. I was considering going to graduate school and pursue a masters and maybe a doctorate degree as well. Is this type of career easy to find a job after finishing graduate school?? Do a lot of students go into this subfield of psychology?? How long does it take to pursue this type of career?? I am very interested in psychology. I find it very interesting about researching or experimenting in pscyhology. Can someone tell me if a career in research or experimental psychology is a great job?? Can anyone that has or is on the path to recieve there degree in either research or experimental pscyhology give me some insight about this career. Can anyone also tell me what type of jobs would be easy to land with a masters or doctorate degree in the real-world. Thanks any information you could give me would be VERY HELPFUL.

There are many jobs, and they are very interesting. The jobs are all over the place. Check the American Psychological Association website (www.apa.org) - -it has good information for people interested in careers in psychology.

if you want to do research and experimental psychology then you are already doing it, any human interaction is psychology. schools will always remain intellectual, its never actual. so psychology to me is bs because so much is based on freud, and currently hes dead. move on.
