I speak with my neighbor all the time. It's not just hi, how are you? We sit on the porch and talk about life, our kids and whatever.

all my neighbors speak espanyol i have no idea what they ever are saying but i talk to the one english speaking neighbor i have but mostly cause my dad started it now he knows us if he hadden't i probally wouldn't but our mail man is nice i talk to him

I talk to my neighbor on my left, but most the time when we see each other we don't have time to talk. The other neighbor i haven't talked to in 7 years because she doesn't like me i guess i really don't understand why.
sometimes i will talk to my neighbors depend if they need someone that they always had trusted to take care of their house and theyre pets when they do go out town alot for their buinesses trips. sometimes i will say hi and or good afternoon , or even say have a great night to my neighbors . . no i dont even talk about the weather to them . cause my both next doors neighbors are all marriages couples that doesnt have any kids yet. once a while they will invite me to have a nice cup of tea or even have to chat with them anything .

No. I do not enjoy small talk. And they always act too busy, rushing around, to basically get in their houses after work. No one in my neighbor really hangs out outside ever. I don't know why. It's a weird thing. Most people I know do not speak to their neighbors either. It's a funny thing, living so close to others, but yet so far away? :-P
I talk to all of my neighbors, we are friends almost like family we share our lives, money, family, we go out to parties together, we babysit each others children, we help each other fix our cars, homes, feed each other, loan each other money, we take each other to work or school if your car is broke down, or whatever, I love my neighbors. We are a community. I would hate to live by some of you A#$holes.

yes but she cusses a lot. I still talk with her but I make sure my conversation is clean. I try not to get involved.
neighbors are weird... at least mine are. i never even look at them, let alone speak with them. just nosy people is what they are. they feel like they are in the, "center of the neighborhood." i think its because you expect them to be just like you becuase they live next to you, but then find out they are far from it.
