Stress Busters?

I have a sister who is autistic and my father has chemotherapy, and to top it off, I am going into Middle school after this year. All this stress makes me snappy and my parents don't like it. Can anyone help?

Answer:
I'm so sorry that you have so much on your plate at such a young age!

Some things that help me with stress are writing (journaling my thoughts/feelings, or writing fiction to escape), talking with a friend or counselor, exercise, yoga, and meditation.

Sometimes, finding someone online with similar problems/situations can help. Maybe look into groups for siblings of people with autism, or of children of parents with cancer! There is a lot of support - and people who aren't within your family sometimes can help shed light on different perspectives!

Good luck, and I wish you and your family the best!!
Stress can arise for a variety of reasons. Any change in our lives can be stressful. In dealing with stress, the lifestyle needs a complete overhaul. We should be placed on an optimum diet, and take regular exercise and adequate rest. Check out http://sumiram2006-stressfree.blogspot.c... for more info.
