I'm no good at interviewing help!?
It makes me want to pull my hair out... I mean I feel so bad about how it went that I almost hope that I don't get the job so I don't have to face them again.
I stutter, I lose track of thought often and spend precious minutes trying to remember what the hell it was that I was going to say. I ramble about unimportant topics, and nod profusely.
Anyone have any interviewing tips to make things go a little smoother and not be so excruciatingly painful to think about later?

Hi ஐmoeb424ஐ,
First, research the company you are applying to and the position, if you can find ifnromation. A good place for information is the internet.
Read a book on how to interview. I know one tip is to never say anything negative and to not ramble and give clear responses.
Prepare yourself before the interview by not worrying about it. Set up multiple interviews if you know that you have this problem, with different companies. This will make you not rely on one job which will make you totally nervous.
Do something that will keep you occupied the day of the interview. Maybe you are just getting nervous because it's the only thing on your mind.
Do a mock interview with someone. At my college, they ahve people at the jobsearch center who will help me with this.
I know how you feel. What works best for me is to make a list of answers for questions that I think they will ask and take them with me in a notebook. I found a book that had a list of common questions at my local Workforce Center. The list not only helps me keep track of what I am saying, it helps me feel more confident because I know I have had a chance to really think about my answers. Having a notebook with also usually impresses interviewers because if you take a few notes about their company they know that you think the information is important enough to make sure you remember.
Also, it helps me be sure that I didn't forget to tell them every think I think they need to know about me. And it gives me a place to write questions they ask that I wasn't prepared for, so on the next interview I can be ready for it. The Workforce Center is also a great place to get help writing a resume and cover letter.
Just relax and pretend to yourself that you don't really care about getting the job, not so that you look disinterseted just enough so that nerves don't fire up.
Practice with a freind or think that YOU are the one deciding if you want to work at this organization or for these people, not if they want to hire you.
